New from Northridge, CA

Just picked up a white 92 VX hatch w/140k original miles, clean title yesterday from the original owners in Redondo Beach, CA. Had no clue that this car was so good on MPG. I'm gonna keep this one. This is my second Honda since selling my 2002 EX coupe in favor for a 04 Dodge Ram Quad Cab hemi. I regretted selling that car, and i've always wanted another honda. I love my truck but with todays gas prices rising, the truck will sit for awhile. I'm gonna get a major tune up first, new tires, brakes, shampooing, everything done to this one, and keep this as my daily driver.

Good to hear you have learned the ways of the Honda...... now you need a 49 state ECU to enable lean burn ..... since you have a 92, your vx is already equiped with the egr and the 5 wire wideband O2. The 49 state ecu is a P07-A00 or A01. LEt me know if you are intersted...i might be coming across another one. pwoplw re reporing 50+ mpg

From one VX owner to another, welcome to the site. I too have a CA VX and hopefully soon will be swapping the ecu and o2 sensor.

Congratulations on your purchase. While your getting it spiffied up, I would have them give you a new timing belt, water pump and hoses. I would also have the brakes checked out, just so you can drive it with peace of mind.
