WTB D16 or D15

I have given up on trying to stop my 1989 Honda Civic DX's, engine from smoking, so i am looking to replace it. This is a daily driver so a D15b2 would be fine or a D16y7 would also be nice. I am located in Greensboro NC.

So if you pulled that D15 out for a VX swap, let me purchase that old D15 from you . I would like to locate one that has low miles (under 100k) and absolutely does not smoke. :D

Pm or post would be fine.

Thanks
Tim

if you are willing to come to ohio
or want to pay for some delivery fees
i know someone pulling a d16y7 from a 1998 honda...
he is putting in a b18 swap for towing...
i was supposed to help with the swap for the motor but now i cant.
however i'm sure he would like to sell that complete y7 swap
make an offer and i will pass it along...no middleman profit...unless you want me to deliver it
has 126k miles...and runs flawlessly...

Tim,

I now have three '91 Civics, all with D15b2 engines, including a hatchback I just bought for $500! They all run great. I'd just keep looking for a working car and then you can swap parts back and forth if you want. Oh, and the mileage on my cars is 155k, 225k and 265k, and none of them smoke. So I wouldn't hesitate to buy an engine with 150-200k miles on it.

Good luck,
Bill
