Fuelly Forums - Hello! (from long time lurker and mpg freak)

Hello everyone! I've been reading threads here for a while now and have wanted to post several times, but never got around to regestering. First of all, thank you all for the great informaton provided on this site.

A little about me - I live in Los Angeles - Calabasas. I've been driving an '89 CRX si for about four years now. I bought it from the original owner (an older lady) for $1800. My last tank of gas was my record - 45 mpg! I am very proud of this. It is about 50% over the epa estimate.
With my wife being pregnant, we had to get a family car. So we got the biggest little car we could find. A 2006 Scion xB 5 speed. I love this car! Its about the lenght of the crx, weighs 200 pounds more, has a smaller engine, and gets great mileage. Our first two tanks came in at - 36.5 and 36.1mpg. I am very pleased with this.
