I've been reading posts for a week or so now and decided to join after following some of the things to get better mpg.

I drive a 99 Ford Explorer 4x4 and usually get 15-16mpg and started driving to save gas last week and filled up and had 23mpg! I wasnt expecting such a change but I definitely wont complain!:thumbup:

Wow, great job getting 23mpg out of it! What strategies have you used?

just the basics, coasting when possible, taking off slow, and all that good stuff.
and got rid of the subwoofers I hadnt used for over two years.:rolleyes:

Damn, great job! You should enter this stuff in the gaslog...
