Bug in car browser
Problem: "Filter To" drop down doesn't properly remember setting between pages
Steps to Reproduce: Visit the following page: https://www.fuelly.com/car/volkswagen...sel%20l4/sedan Expect Result: In the "Filter To" drop down "Diesel L4" should be selected Actual Result: In the "Filter To" drop down "L4" is selected Environment: Safari 5.1 (7534.45) |
It's not designed to remember your choice from a previous page and I'm not sure it should be that way. Not every model has every option. So if you choose Diesel L4, it simply might not exist if you browse over to some vehicle that doesn't have that option.
Can you explain a bit why you think the setting should stick? |
Wait, scratch that. I see now that simply choosing "Diesel L4" isn't working. Looking into it.
|
ok, it should be working now. Sorry about misreading your post the first time around.

I don't know if this is a related problem, but sometimes when I edit my car's description, the engine type is lost. 90% of the time it is OK.
I guess I differ from most people because I do edit the description very frequently (I keep track of the various phases within the current tank). |
MMUK, that was a known problem that I fixed up last Monday. Let me know if you run into again and I'll take another look.
|
Well, I noticed that the engine type was missing yesterday (at the time that I posted the above), but it is possible that it may have disappeared earlier from a previous edit. So I'll keep an eye out & let you know if it happens again.

Thanks pb, it seems to work great now.
