It's great to see so many small car owners. My girlfriend and I share a metallic lime green Nissan Micra, that we call 'Hud'.

It has awesome fuel economy being below 1000cc and with careful gear change it does huge mpg - well over 60 mpg! The right fuel definitely helps I think, witness what Shell for example:

It's an interesting point, but I think higher quality fuel definitely goes further..... any thoughts on the best fuel to use??

Use anything WITHOUT ethanol in it if you can help it. I use Chevron 87 and get significantly better mileage than anything else.
