YEA...
im looking for a scanguage II for my corolla....hopefully a used one for cheaper than the 170$ or 160$ they are selling for...


btw... if i do get a unit....i will most likly sell it back to somebody on gassavers.org ...as i just want to use it for a month or 2 to do some researcg with it..

I have seen used ones go for 130 or so. I don't really understand why you would sell it afterwards. it is a handy little tool.

in any other case, I would say to buy new because you won't get the warranty with a used one but if you are just going to resell it anyway, I guess you will just be out shipping charges.

what research are you needing?

well.. i thought i would just use it to see how much fuel im using up... and see what methods would help me out... etc etc... and after that... let someone else learn with the scanguage...

i didnt think i would need it constantly once i find the optimal driving habbits.


if i like it alot... i might keep it...

how much is it new?... to get a warranty that is?..

iv seen them on ebay for 160 shipped new in box.... im not sure if they have warranty though...

Else, you can try to get in on a group buy (I think cleanmpg.com does one).

If you don't have the budget to spare for it, buying it used and then selling it used is a cheap way to do your research. I did that with a similar device.
