Another intro
 

Greetings Gas Savers! I just bought a new commuter car (26,000 miles but new to me) due to gas prices and am already modding for fuel economy. I hope to get a lot of knowledge from the members of this site as well as contribute when I can.
My car is a 2007 Hyundai Elantra with an auto trans (yuk). My first two tank averages have been 34.5mpg and 36.6mpg. The Elantra SE comes with a avg mpg readout that I've found helpful and I've seen low 40's for stretches of highway driving. Not bad for an Auto and I hope to do better.
BTW this is a great car with plenty of room for a family of three.
Let the modifications begin!
