PCV Catch Can
No longer for sale
looks nice! what do you use as filter media?
also is there a drain at the bottom or do you have to take it apart? |
It has a very porous plastic/foam filter in the top of the tank, and the bottom half of the tank screws off to empty it.
Nice design but a bit high maintenance IMO. There's no way to see where the fluid level is.
What size is that? 2" or 3" |
Can is made of 2" pvc & is 8" tall.
thats pretty big! certainly enough to make emptying it a semi anual event depending on application(cars with forced induction would be more often).
Yea it's a bit large, I wanted to use 1&1/2 pvc but my filtering material wouldn't fit. It doesn't look bad in the engine compartment, if you spray paint it black.
I saw one of these for sale on ebay but it was called a bubbler.
I was mistaken. This was listed as a PCV catch can on ebay.
