Ford MAP Enhancer Question

I have been told that a Ford MAP sensor sends its signal back to ECU in Hz rather than volts like the other manufactures. Has anyone used a MAP enhancer on a Ford MAP sensor? Will the MAP enhancer work on a Ford MAP sensor? If not what can I do to get around the MAP sensor when adding a HHO generator?

It is a 1988 Ford Escort 1.9L TBI. The reason for asking is that it has a frequency based sensor and I wasn't sure whether a MAP/MAF sensor enhancer would work correctly on it or not.

I'm sure by now you have your answer but for the sake of others who may ask, if you have a frequency based MAF/MAP a normal potentiometer MAF enhance won't work since it only regulates voltage.
