Suggestion for web addresses of member pages

I was thinking that if we had member pages that had all of our vehicles listed we could actually post the address on the back of our vehicles... For example I might put WWW.GasSavers.org/members/Jay2TheRescue on the back of my vehicles, and people who see me driving down the road might reasonably remember the web address, and look at my vehicles & gaslog later when they get home. Either that, or maybe something like WWW.GasSavers.org/vehicles/TheBeast Of course this will require every vehicle to have a unique name, and I have noticed other vehicles called "The Beast" in the garage.

Anyway, I was thinking we needed something easier to remember than our current system that would require me to put WWW.GasSavers.org/garage/view/1868.

I'm thinking the member page would be easiest, and have links there to the member's vehicles and fuel logs.

I honestly think that we should all put our best tank MPG on our back or side glass

people laugh at my funny looking cavalier until I tell them that I got 38+ MPG on an almost 12 year old car that was never built for efficiency.

you can get the gassavers.org stickers but I know what you mean about the addresses. they are a little weird. also, I have seen other car clubs with their web pages on the back so it just makes sense

This morning I saw a really trashy looking Geo Metro (or Suzuki Swift/etc) that had a really awful paint job, over top of which, someone has freehand spray painted "50 MPG" in large letters all over it (i.e. 3 times on the side, at least once on the front--I didn't see the back). It wasn't the nicest lettering job either.

I LOL'd.

Funny you mention this, recently I was thinking of a bumper sticker that says something like "feel free to drive around me, I'm saving gas like all of us cool guys at GasSavers.org" (a bit more succinct, obviously).

Feel Free to Pass, I'm Saving Gas.
GasSavers.org

We need some kind of a graphic/logo...

How about a bumper sticker that reads:

I've got gas.
Thanks to www.gassavers.org

That should get lots of attention.

I am still thinking of putting my mileage (best tank) on my side window. I have little cheesy windows in the back since it is a 2 door.

I would buy one of those bumper stickers though. I have 2 flowmaster stickers on the back of my cav right now and it drives the ricers crazy. they all want to race me. I have had several to blow by me at 100+ MPH. they all do the same thing. they are riding behind me, then get right on my bumper, then back up so they can get a running start and blow by me like a bat. lol, I still think it is funny. I put them on there as a joke and it makes it easier to find my car at wal-mart. it blends in well

If you're talking about sitckers on the car as a joke, I have a STARFLEET ACADEMY sticker on the back of my Buick. Its amazing how many people ask where that school is...

I got a buddy that almost graduated from there. he flunked out on the only foreign language that they tought. just couldn't figure it out. I guess klingon (clingon) is a hard language to translate. lol

I've been thinking about buying one of those dry erase marker boards and putting my last tank mpg and 90 day average mpg. It would turn the tables on some of the people that look at my old '88 Escort and laugh, which from age looks like it is a victim of domestic violence. It might get others thinking more about fuel economy.
