Scan gauge question
is there a setting to keep the scan gauge running during EOC?
|
I don't even have one, and I know this. You have to tell it your car is a hybrid. If it is in hybrid mode it keeps running with the engine off.
Yes, I read all sorts of threads on here, even ones that have no effect on me. :D |
You can turn the ignition switch to the on position right after shutting the engine off and the scan gauge will still be operative.

My SG did something really weird today. I DFCO'ed down to a stoplight. Once I came to a stop (SG did not report DFCO when I was actually in cutoff) SG reported 9999 MPG and 0.0 GPM fuel rate until the light turned green and I hit the accelerator to go.
For those of you unfamiliar with my SG calibration problems I can't seem to get SG to report DFCO. -Jay |
I am now showing just under 34 mpg and I'm sure it's more than that.

There are problems with the SG when it comes to dealing with FAS and EOC. Even with "hybrid mode" selected, it doesn't always work right and from what I've read, there is no immediate solution other than not to do FAS/EOC.

Yeah mine freaks out if you dont completly let it power down. The the previous day stuff get all freaked out with weird readings. Hybrid helped but didnt slow the problem.
