gotcha, that makes sense. kind of like the electric nibblers (don't know their name).

I had a major set back with my project. I think I just got too greedy. I put on the airdam and now the IAT is staying too cool so I decided to cover the one last opening in my nose (the car's nose) so I test drove it at 1:30 in the morning. outside temps were about 70 deg. I got to about 220 on the water temp before I decided to tear it out. I had the heat going full blast and the windows down. I got the temps back down to about 200 on the way home with the heat going.

I am seriously thinking of taking the air dam off too. I didn't yield that much from it (if any) I think anything I would have yielded from it was offset by the cooler temps on the intake.

I have gotten a cavalier up to 38 mpg which is in the neigborhood of 50 percent over EPA. I think I should be happy with that.

Here's where to get them:

They're not quite 90 degrees but they look like enough, and they are cheap. If they're like the straighter ones from the same place, then they're better than you think but still not as good as expensive ones.

And the other thing IS called 'electric nibblers'.
