I guess mine stays open but doesn't affect the idle. What I'm thinking is if the throttle cable is loose there is less tension when the spring closes the throttle. With more tension maybe it closes...

I'm already a hypermiler. 20% above 25mpg is 30mpg. The next tank will be higher since the sensor will be in the car the whole tank. I can't wait till fall, I'll get to put a EBH and get it hopefully...
