I know NJ doesn't allow self-serve by law. I think it's Oregon that is the only another full serve only state.

And many people will wait in line than pay $0.01 more a gallon at the empty station across the corner.

Those that don't want to get out to pump gas can move to Oregon or NJ.

If I go down to E, I could reach 500 miles regularly. Considering it's a 4 cylinder car with a 16.5 gallon tank, it isn't an achievement.

I always shake my head when see a cars tank range...

In theory it is possible with a Prius or first gen Insight. People have gotten 100+ mpg in hypermiling competitions with them. Some drivers in Japan might have done an actual 1000 mile tank with the...
