What are the prices in your area

Hi Guys

Just wondering what price you are paying for your fuel in your area.
Where we live in the north west of Western Australia.
Diesel $1.86 Australian per metric litre
Unleaded $1.86 AU
There are 3. 75 litres to a US gallon I think and I think and 4.5 to the imperial gallon.
1 gallon US would cost $6.95 aus.
1 gallon imperial would cost us $8.37 aus.

Cheers
Ernie

Hungary: This weekend I fueled up (95 RON E5) at 426HUF per liter, which is ~ 7.04 USD per US gallon. (1.98 AUD per liter)

1 US size gallon of fuel in the UK costs 9.36 Aus dollars, and the UK gallon costs 11.26 Aus dollars, expensive here...

I believe I paid $3.71 a gallon US for my last tank. $3.32 sounds even better

I use the GasBuddy app faithfully to find the cheapest gas and diesel. I don't know what's available outside the US.

Hi guys thanks for your replies.
Alvaro84 your prices are similar to ours .
Drain flag your prices are bloody scary, as we will be in the UK next August that's interesting to know. We will have try and hire a Clio that gets 88 miles pg that's incredible. I hope the prices in Europe are cheaper than yours.
Hypermarquis, sparkn your prices don't seem to have changed much since we were there in 2011, we used gas buddy as well. We hired an RV with V10 Ford so we needed to find the cheapest fuel when we could. We have a similar system in west OZ that is run by the state govt called fuel watch.
Anyway catch you later and thanks again.
Ernie

Yea the UK is officially the most expensive place to run a car, insurance, fuel, servicing and the dreaded pollution tax is verging on the ridiculous! But fuel prices have changed the car market over the years, some of the Euro diesels are very efficient.

Yea I have a Clio, only getting 63 MPG at the moment, but I've only had the car a few weeks and have not yet had the chance to drive it efficiently!

I just found an old topic I made about running a car in the UK, all told it costs the average UK driver £3500 a year, that's $6335 Australian Dollars!

Just and FYI - We plan to create some reports that show the average fuel prices across countries where we have members submitting fuel-ups at some point in the future. That would be a neat way to compare and we have all the data needed to do that.

Good idea and maybe a list of web sites like Gas buddy and fuel watch here in west Oz in each country would be handy for those who want travel and work out a budget .

Thanks
Ernie
