Drove from Durango to Crested Butte and then up Kebbler Pass before hitting CO 133. What a great empty road with passing zones and flow! Passed a WRX Sti who started following me through the quicker sections of road. Then to stop the night in Redstone and driving through Carbondale from breakfast. Finally up through to Independance Ghost town and a drive up through Leadville to see Temple Isreal. Really enjoyed 91 up to Copper but noticed the driveshaft seemed to be out of balance in high rpms... Filled up on Gas near Frisco Marina.

Drove from Ouray back to Purgatory and then up the road from a hike to Engineer Mountain. Finally did a drive to Silverton for breakfast and then up to Gunnison for a fuel up. There were some stops for construction and a section going quickly up to Blue Mesa Reservoir.

Drove from Salida to Durango during group caravan. Pretty good blast up Wolf Creek Pass before the group drive to Purgatory. some pretty quick accelerating. Then the Million dollar Highway to lunch in Ouray. J was following in turbo WRX and the road was quite open.

Drove for D4C 2017 from our house to Bandimere up 285 to Salida for a partial fill up before heading to Durango/ Purgatory. spirited driving up Wolf Creek pass and partially 285.

Filled up for M5 Drive in Golden Gate Canyon. Car did fine, maybe 80 miles. Then a couple weeks later I drove the car up to CO's BMW for their Bimmerfest show/gathering. Mostly highway and totday I drove to travis; house to get the D4C decals and things. Tank still has a leak so I haven't been filling it full...

Drove the car down south for a BMW drive with Ted and Rick M and Rainer. Went to Cripple Creek and stopped in Victor, CO. Drove back to Rick's shop as well as Ted's place where we did a D4C meeting and then dinner afterwards. Seems that the battery has pretty much failed as it wouldn't start the other day when we went for a drive with other M5's in Golden Gate Canyon. Probably 20mpg but didn't fill due to gas tank.

Car sat after a couple of short trips in the fall, and then drove around after bleeding the brakes and going to The Man Cave Westminster. Filled up in Monument before a group drive to Victor, CO.

Drove to look at 535i auto and also drove to work a few times. Car sat for 3 months or more as it was taken off insurance. did a 50 mile drive around locally just to stretch the legs. Fuel light came on, would have taken 14+ gallons.

Drove down to Ted's place and took Alexandra to Erica's bridal party. Ted drove the car but otherwise it was mostly highway. Filled up in Highlands Ranch weeks later when taking Alexandra for group fitness interview. The tank still leaks from when close to full.

Drove to work and back a few times, once to Boulder to get an e39 spoiler for Greg and then a trip to Grandma on Lincoln Ave after she injured her hip. filled up for a trip down to CO Springs.

Drove Allan and Adrienne's for his birthday and took them around to the Forney museum and then to lunch. It was hot and we had to have the AC going. Replaced the fuel pump and then found the replacement fuel line to the FPR had been kinking.

Drove to Colorado Springs for Ted's planned drive. Then swapped out the water pump and cooling hoses before changing the walbro fuel pump and fuel filter. Still have hesitaton and I am wondering if it is injectors or a lift pump screen that has become clogged... Happens after driving around a bit, just isn't getting enough fuel or maybe a clogged injector?

Drove around the block after swapping fuel tank. It seems new sender gasket may have fixed the fuel leak when full. Still have a slight gas smell when driving hard, however. Filled up with 87 and stopped in Monument where I filled up before going on the Valentines day drive that Ted planned.

Drove on the fall drive with the BMW club from our house to Golden to Fraser to Grand Lake to Rocky Mountain National Park. Fuel pump started having issues at that point and I had to limp it home. Changed the pump (twice) before getting it to the gas station months later. Still working on front end euro conversion. Also still have a fuel leak, even with the new tank gasket.

Drove to work and back twice. Had fuel leakage after replacing gas tank, that also contributed to low MPG.

Drove to BMW meet locally and work a few days. Then the car sat int he garage as I wanted to replace the fuel tank. I replaced the tank but still have a leak from the top. I need to get the lift pump gaskets to resolve the leak. probably had more like 20mpg for this tank.

Drove down to passover meal, but then car sat due to failing clutch. Fixed that and then swapped shocks and struts all aaround. Drove down to dads and to my friend Andrew's place in parker (to get Dinan springs!) before driving to work and filling up while coming home. 19-20mpg

Drove to work and back for a few days. filled up for trip to Estes Park( Venues) and Nederland on the way home. It was cold out though, 15 degrees. 18.5MPG.

Drove to Aurora for one evening to get some items and from moms and Derek's wedding reception. Also to work a couple of days before starting on Euro Bumper conversion. Got front spoiler on and drove to Colorado Springs where I filled up before Nick's house warming party.

Drove from Salida with the caravan to Pagosa Springs. Average driving, some speed, mostly easy. Drove a couple of places, up and down the pass for the saturday gathering, and then Sunday drove to Durango and back before filling up.

Drove to work and back. Highway travelling but got stuck in traffic. 3 nights of city driving also. Felt pretty maxed out at 24mpg shown on the OBC. Used 87 octane.

Premium gas to work for a day, plus city driving after getting the car back from dave s. Cap, rotor, spark plug wires, spark plugs. Compression check at ~150 all around. Used 87 octane.

Drove around with poor performance for a day or so and then parked. Car sat for months until driven this past week to Dave Stackhouse to be fixed. New rotor, cap, and spark plug wires. compression check showed 140-150 psi in all 6. Some additional city driving before filling partially.
