Nicked a curb which cut the sidewall of one of the Nokian snow tires pretty bad. No replacements available and they had seen a good life (5.5 seasons and were getting pretty loud) so had some Blizzak WS90s installed in stock 225/55/17 size. Approx 20,7xx miles on the Nokians. Odo 80,504 at time of change. Also had the tire shop fix a nail in one of the summer tires at the same visit. Discount Tire beat Costco's price at only $715.08 installed.

Oil change - Mobil1 0w-20 Full Synthetic (4.5 quarts) and Mazda 1WPE-14-302 filter (the little one). 5967 miles on this oil. About $45 total cost.

Future note: use PE01-14-302A or B, not "MV" for value line, and not the 1WPY-14-302 which is smaller. Though the 1WPY is still a good Mazda filter if necessary.

Installed AWR dogbone rear engine mount (62 durometer ultra soft) at 66512 miles. This upgrade completely eliminated the lurching while crawling at low rpm or speed. Also saved about 1-2 pounds of weight over stock. Should have done it years ago. $125

Swapped on summer tires at 61653 miles. 2194 miles on the snow tires this season, for a total of 13,544 miles after their fourth season. Plenty of tread left. Also removed roof rack for now, to save on gas and to clean under the feet.

Oil change at 57774 miles. 9309 miles on this oil. This time I cheaped out and used Quaker State full synth 0w-20, since the Zepro OEM oil is getting hard to find, and a Fram ultra guard filter. $26.94 total

Swapped snow tires on at 51178 miles, for 2723 more miles on the summers this year. Total mileage on the summer is 6823. Also flushed brake fluid (first time since factory). Used a can of DOT4 Castrol synthetic brake fluid that I've had lying around.

Oil change at 41594 miles. Mazda full synthetic 0w20 with moly, and OEM Mazda filter. 10,984 miles on this oil. Got the oil and filter for free when the dealer bungled a service a couple of years ago.

Swapped on my new 17" wheels with old all season tires. I will drive on these until the cold season and then put new studlsss tires on these rims. Odo 33920. The original Dunlop all seasons are showing their age. I might get 2,000-4,000 more miles out of them next summer.

I found a set of 17" factory wheels for $250 locally with some used all seasons on them. I'll swap these on and use them for the summer and then put snow tires on them.
