first fuel-up after new breather hoses and oil pressure issue with turbo was resolved at SEA. Car now boosts to 21psi and is much smoother, although not perfect. CEL is cleared.

F'ing oil refinery fire in California supposedly the reason for these rediculous fuel prices. CEL/turbo issue/limp mode still going. Car is going in on Sunday. I fear the worse.

Just got a CEL. Noticed some oil burning/smoke at a long light last night. Also felt like I had a fuel cut off this morning on the freeway. Also, the car will only boost to 10psi or so now, probably in protect mode. Ah, the joys of owning a VW!
