92 VX Radiator and Shock Replacement

My 92 VX still has original shocks and a now leaking radiator. Any suggestions on upgrading ride or advice on radiators? The more I read the more I am uncertain what to buy.

Re: 92 VX Radiator and Shock Replacement

i'm not certain you can go wrong w/ a radiator--no moving parts. anyway look here... http://www.autoparts123.com/ShopByVe...@@2924&mode=PA it's ~$44, and i have a coupon for 10% off. it's free shipping over $50 as well!

also there's a supplier list here @ GS. near the end of the thread i compiled a list of auto part suppliers, beyond the typical national store brands here...http://www.gassavers.org/showthread....ight=suppliers

edit: it looks like autoparts123 has shocks for your car as well. try www.tirerack.com too.

Re: 92 VX Radiator and Shock Replacement

don't go with the cheapest line of shock/strut for whatever brand you choose (gabriel guardian, monroe matic, etc) they tend to be garbage out of the box. I've literally put them on cars with 100k+ on the factory shocks and it was WORSE pulling out (worst was an S10 with the factory bilsteins and he insisted he needed shocks but wanted the cheapest ones.)

Thanks BTGuy and 980. I've decided to invest in Bilstein HD's. Expensive but
I plan long term. The autoparts123 radiator is a great deal. Where did you get your coupon?
