Anyone Try Those Pulstar $25 A Piece Plugs?

HAVE E3 PLUGS NOW BUT THEY DONT LIKE MY JEEP, WHAT OTHER PLUGS ARE BEST FOR MPG, THESE PULSTAR PLUGS ANYONE TRY THEM YET??

Considering you can buy a quality OEM platinum plug for most vehicles for under $5/ea (I think I got the ones for the Beast on sale for $2/ea) these plugs have to save a lot of gas to make the extra cost worthwile.

I don't see them as being 5 times better than OEM.

Your 95 Jeep ran with Champion copper cores out of the factory. Put those back in. Probably stock number 412 if I had to take a guess off the top of my head. They'll be under $2 per plug. Gap according to the emissions sticker on the radiator support or underside of the hood.

Under $2 a plug!?! Where did you go! I had to buy 5 sets of 50 spark plugs a couple weeks ago and ended up getting the Champion gold and Autolite titanium plugs because they were cheaper than the copper plugs.

And on your jeep, stick with the stock plugs, you go fancy with long life plugs or anything and you'll end up with a stalling issue. It happens with A LOT of those 4.0L jeeps.

Your gap is .035" Champion model 4412.

I agree. And they are easy to change in your 4.0 motor in that jeep.

I believe I bought my AC Delco Platinums on sale @ Pep Boys. It was about 2 years ago.

Back when I was a kid, I used to go to a swap meet at my local drive in theater. One day there was a guy who set up a really impressive display with these little devices which you put on the center of the distributor cap which were supposed to give you better gas mileage. Essentially it contained a spark gap inside of a little bakelite cylinder.

Looks to me like these plugs are a modern, high-tech version of the aforementioned flim-flam device, and probably just about as effective. I wish I could find something on these devices to link to...

Funny you should mention that. I remember seeing something similar being demonstrated @ the Daytona Beach Flea Market when I was a kid in the 80's. The same guy was also flogging some kind of engine treatment as well. I remember he had a Datsun 4 cyl running on an engine stand with no oil pan or valve covers on it.

Just stroll into any auto parts store. Red box copper core Champions are dirt cheap. Copper core Autolites are a close second price wise around here.
