del Sol molding removal

I need to remove the buttress moldings on the del Sol without breaking the tabs that hold them in. I am referring to Part #s 16 and 17 on the link below. Has anyone done this before?

MOLDING - PROTECTOR 1995 HONDA DEL SOL Parts 2DR S KA5MT - Genuine OEM HONDA Parts

Thanks.

Good luck try at a junkyard. Break that one to figure it out. Usually its straight away.

I found a parts car, but I don't want to break them getting them out. The car only has 88,000 miles, is the same color as mine, and is in really good shape except for a blown engine and some rear end damage. I would like to swap out the moldings, front bumper, and hood. I am trying to sell him my del Sol engine. It wouldn't be a bad car to fix up, but it has no title and it's an automatic. These things are hard to find in a junkyard.

They come and go quick local here. I could kick myself for not getting the rear disk setup. I went back like 1 week later and the car was gone. There I one at another yard but I won't be able to hit that one up anytime soon. Sorry.
