Tires - how old is too old?

I doubt it's driven much.

That's where I'm at with the truck. I can't justify spending money on tires when the truck will be driven less than 5K per year. I would say it would be driven less than 3K, but I've already put 2,800 miles on it, and I have only had it since August.
