I would think the specially patented taillight slits would have less to do with aero improvements than how they actually duct the high pressure air to the slits in the first place. After that, wouldn't any slits do?

That's interesting. What episode of 5th-gear BTW? I'm still working through some seasons -- I love that show!

I'd be concerned about condensation -- mine are supposed to be "sealed" but they're full of moisture.

But to increase rear downforce without an exterior piece of hardware is amazing. I wonder if this came from F1 experimentation (Hmmmm.)
