This only would have been a surprise had we not already heard the audio portion of the Volt video (where it's being driven around the suburban cul de sac).

Even there you could tell it was a kludged together "drivetrain" only meant to move a design mule at a walking pace.

Hrmmmm -

Maybe the laundry detergent is a secret ingredient. Maybe I'll try it in my hydrogen booster .

EDIT : Can anyone tell me the brand of detergent ?
