I'm finding that the format for the inputting of data a little back to front with FUELLY. Historicaly I was only recording total fuel and cost in my log book long before I had a computer
I found a spread sheet on a TDI forum many years ago and its set-up was to calculate the cost per litre from the total litres and the total cost. I like that because I can check whether I've been ripped off by an inaccurate fuel pump.
Yeah, I think this boils down to personal preference for some people. Some people would like to record total cost rather than cost/fuel unit. We chose cost/unit, and we'd like to keep it this way. We want the fuel-up form to be simple, and we've had it this way for years. I understand having a preference for one over the other, but I think supporting both would add too much confusion for people without a solid gain.
