So, I'm wishing for more ways to filter searching vehicle data, like a numerical listing for highest miles tracked, most fuel-ups, best mpg, etc that are listed by model, year, brand or the entire site. I believe I have the highest number fuel-ups and mileage for all the 2011 VW Jettas, but trying to see where I rank in comparison to other cars and site users isn't easy whatsoever...very tedious to research.
Anyway, ATM I have 405 fuel-ups and 240,453 miles logged here on fuelly on one of my cars. Anyone else care to point out if you or any listings you found on here exceed that?
We plan to incorporate more filtering options and graphs to display some of those metrics you mentioned.
It was never put in place because we didn't want users gaming the system (garbage entries just so they could get on the top and then use their profile to spam/advertise).
We're still very much concerned about that as a problem, but hope to address it soon.
Thanks for the feedback!
As for your number of fuel-ups and total miles... I'll need to research that and see if I can get some numbers for you.
I seem to have trouble finding discussion of gas mileage
for the same vehicle from one major brand to the other.
I drive a 2012 Prius and regularly compare the mileage I get with the same type of driving from one brand to the other. I consistently find that among Shell, Chevron and 76, I get the poorest mileage with Chevron. Chevron is worst by as much as 3 to 4 mpg.
My cynical side says this is a way for Chevron to extract more purchases from their loyal Techron affectionadoes who never try another brand.
