Fuelly Suggestion!

Fuelly suggestion

I like this site and have been a user for a few years (Previous car was put to the grave)
I am very interested to see what type of transmission people have.
Just as you can filter out engine types. Why not make it so you can filter out transmission type (AT or MT)

Thanks for the suggestion! It's on our to do someday list. Of course it won't catch the hundreds of cars already in the system, but we would like to track this eventually.

A lot of the cars in USA are AT, in Europe MT.

Kind of like a 90/10 mix; 90%AT in USA, 90%MT in Europe.

I would also love to see real life fuel comparisons to AT or MT transmissions.

Though a lot of it has to do with City drive. On Highways they both should consume about as much gas (unless the 'direct drive' ratio differs from both transmissions), but in cities it depends on how the driver of the MT shifts gears; where AT's supposed to always shift gears the same way.

One thing that is worth mentioning is that a Manual Transmission box is lighter than an automatic one; so in a city it would make some difference start/stopping on every street light.
