I am using m.fuelly.com and saved the input screen to my home screen, so I use it as a link. It updates my data just fine, but it shows the regular qwerty keyboard.
Just pulled up the m.fuelly.com and checked the source, it shows type="text" for all fields.
We only use type="number" for mobile devices. If you bring up the mobile site in a standard web browser you're going to see type="text".
Sorry it's not working on your iPhone--that's definitely unusual. Which version of the iPhone do you have? Is it jailbroken or have you made any modifications?
This doesn't seem to work on my phone. I'm using a Blackberry Storm (the first version).
I will say though it is nice to now be able to click on the vehicle links from the mobile site. As of a few weeks ago (I believe) this wasn't working. I had to use the full site when adding fill ups.
We weren't doing this for BlackBerrys. (Don't they all have keyboards? heh.) Just updated and you should be getting the type="number" fields on your Storm now.
