Unconfirmed: No way to SMS update a shared vehicle?

Greetings all.

I just had a vehicle shared with me so I could add fuel ups. I can see it in my garage, and can add fuel ups through the site, but can't figure out how to do it through SMS.

My girlfriend added a shortcut letter to her vehicle, but when I send an SMS with that letter, but it doesn't recognize the letter. She tried setting the phone number to her account to be my number, but fuelly rejects it since it's already used by my account.

Is there any way to get this to work? I don't have a smartphone.

In the Settings menu on the main site, under the SMS Preferences there are two numbers that you can store to add fuel-ups. Is the other user's number listed in the second box?

So would I want to add my GF's number to my account? I'm not sure what that would accomplish since I want to update her bike, which is now shared with me.

She can't add my number to her account since it's already used on my account.
