View todays posts

It would be nice to have "view todays post" link near the bottom of the page so that you don't have to go back up to the top to click on it.

How about the lower right in the grey bar? (to the right of the copyright).

I can do it later this afternoon if that's a good placement.

How about the grey bar that has the quick reply on it?

Also, and it might be here alread I just have not found it yet a place for how to add quotes, pictures and smileys etc. I new at this and I'm not very good at it.

When you write a message all of the smilies are to the right.

The quote button looks like this:

The image button looks like this:

Both of these are in the toolbar above.

As for placing the link in the quick reply bar, I might not do that. I need to see if it requires hacking of core files or not.

I'm sorry to be so dense.

I see the quote button on the thread but when I click on reply there's nothing but an empty box with post Icons on the bottom. No quote or picture buttons or smilies. I'll keep looking for it.

"view todays posts" is fine anywhere towards the bottom.

What you're refering to is the "quick reply" box. You need to click the button below it that says "go advanced" to get all the smileys and options.

Looks like the default editor wasn't set up correctly. It's fixed now.
