The o-ring on the distributor shaft is worn out and needs to be replaced. Pretty easy to do. But you have to remove the distributor from the cylinder head to replace it. Go to honda-tech.com and search FAQ. The procedure to replace the o-ring is there. Go to a Honda dealership and get the o-ring just to be sure the new o-ring fits properly. I changed one myself. Piece of cake.
I am looking to buy a civic vx, but I don't know if it's big enough for my stuff! Does anyone have photos of cargo in the back, or measurements of the cargo area with the seats folded down? I haven't been able to find this info anywhere!
I'm particularly interested in fitting my bike into the car, so if anyone has done that I would be very interested to hear from you.

fueleconomy.gov or autos.msn.com should have some pretty detailed info about your car. How accurate fueleconomy.gov is about the interior size I don't know but autos.msn.com should be pretty accurate.
The back of the VX is the same size as the back of the CX, DX, and Si hatches of the same model years. The interior space in the back of my 92 CX hatch with the back seats down is a cube roughly 4'x4'x2' high. If you need more room you can always pull out the front passenger's seat, or do like I did on my CX, construct a boattail and extend the interior into it (which in addition to adding additional interior cargo space, greatly improves the mileage).
