found the lyrics to the Over There theme song...

The day is coming
Drums are drumming
If you know one say a prayer
Mothers crying
Father's sighing
War is in the air
Trains filling up with boys
Who have left behind their favorite toys
They're going over there
Someone has to die
(Over there, over there)
It's not our job to reason why
(Over there, over there)
Oh, someone has to die

one movie that I found to be quite unique was UHF.

yes, the name of a movie was UHF

It's by weird al. That movie just cracks me up. It's got something like a G rating, so the kids could watch it too.

WKTEC is very educational.

A good documentary that people seem to have forgot is Who Killed The Electric Car. The movie also has some extra content on the DVD that may be helpful to gas savers as well.

I just watched Who Killed The Electric Car a couple days ago, for a paper I'm writing. I was interested to find that it doesn't single out GM quite as badly as I thought, though it entirely fails to blame all the other manufacturers who did exactly the same thing (nor does it even mention the S10 EVs which weren't repossessed or laud the one manufacturer who didn't repo any of theirs, Ford with their Ranger EV). It's mostly about the EV1 but does place blame on some of the others responsible -- though it fails to mention the law that requires manufacturers to support their vehicles for 15 years after discontinuing them.

British TV I gotta say IT Crowd is my favorite followed closely by Coupling. Who's line is it anyway isn't really under appreciated unless you've only seen the American version(lame).

A movie: "Island in the sky" with John Wayne. About a plane crash in the frozen North of Canada and the rescue of the survivors.
In B&W so a little dated now but still worth while hunting up.

Cheers , Pete.

The first season of The IT Crowd is on Netflix's streaming service. I enjoyed it! Classic BBC silliness.
