"who killed the electric car"

I just watched "who killed the electric car" last night. Anyone else get a chance to see it? It is a pretty interesting movie/ documentary and it made me angry too. It's mostly about the rise and fall of the EV1 (born here in Lansing michigan ). Check it out if you haven't already .

A very cool looking EV is the Sparrow. Wild colors!
The Sparrow was made at the Corbin Motors plant in Hollister, CA. from 2000 till late 2002. On March 31st, 2003 Corbin Motors filed for bankruptcy, effectively killing the future of the car, until Myers Motors resurrected the company in 2004 with the NmG-1.

i dunno if you buys knew this or not bt way wy way back in the time when the first cars were bing made there were electric cars they were slower than the gasoline counter parts but they did exist. they were marketed towards women because they were alot easier to drive/maintain and (i hate to say it but) men of that time thought women couldnt handle gasoline powered cars.

my father already decided as soon as a car with a plug is available for a reasonable price that he is going to pick up that car and 10 more solar panels. all he does is drive to the airport and to beach. (4 blocks)

it sucks walking in the rain.

i know what you are about to say so i will just explain now.

my family surfs. only my mother and my wife go to the beach to lay out. so if your surfing, you dont care if its raining. its actually better when its raining since there are not any noobs or intermediate show-offs out. likewise, one gets a lot more excercise surfing than walking, jogging or running.

i dont get it, i agree that surfing is probably alot more exceisize but you like to surf in the rain (no problem with that), but hate walking in it?

thats like saying i love playing in snow but hate walking thru it...your already wet so who cares.

i dont know about you, but i dont know of many people who will walk up a hill in the snow to go snowboarding all day long.

walking in the rain is just what it is, walking in the rain. surfing in the rain is totally different. there are no downsides. i guess its the kinda thing you have to experience to really understand...
