1988 CRX DX (5 speed)

I've got too many cars and more on the way so the honda is on the chopping block. It's an early '88 CRX DX. Started life as an automatic and I converted it to a Manual 5 speed trans. Other than that it's basically bone stock.

Mechanically I'd say the car is about 8.5-9 out of 10. It needs an alignment and tires, but it runs like a top, and all the accessories work.

Appearance is probably about 8 out of 10. The seats are a bit ratty as are the seat covers that are on them. They're still comfortable though. The rest of the interior is pretty good. The (white) paint is good, but the car does have about as many small dings and dents as you'd expect on an average 20 year old car.

191K on the odometer, probably under 100K on the trans based on condition, new clutch and 3 of 4 engine mounts have been replaced. The car is up to date on all other service. I'll include all the old auto trans items in case you want to convert back to auto (I actually got about 1-2 mpg better mileage with the auto), as well as three spare tires, and anything else I can find for it.

driving conservatively, I get 34-38 mpg city, and 43-47 mpg highway. I've taken it on several 300-800 mile road trips without a single problem.

$1750 obo. I'll be losing money on it at that price. email me at scott@hallesservice for details or photos.
