For sale: GEO Metro block heater - own a piece of GS history!

For sale: genuine OEM GEO Metro block heater from the blue Forkenswift host car.
  • identical to the one currently in use in the Blackfly
  • external bolt-on element style - 300w (bolts to the rear of the block beneath the IM, straddles the steel coolant line to/from the water pump)
  • tested! generates actual heat when plugged in!
  • includes crud-cover to keep plug free of road grime
Will ship with hard-learned information on how to install it in just 45 minutes (as opposed to 2+ hrs if you do it the hard way - ask me how I know).
  • reduce engine wear
  • speed warm-up times
  • get into closed loop sooner
  • save gas
  • reduce emissions
  • get heater output faster
New price: paid $60 CDN with taxes for the Blackfly's.

Yours for only $20 US plus shipping.

Support Project Forkenswift! Your purchase will help reduce the total cost of the EV conversion to roughly $795 CDN (current).

Actual unit not exactly as shown.

Excellent!

Some more accounting trivia: you'll be happy (I hope?) to learn that this latest of 6 or 8 surplus parts sold reduces the net investment in both the red & blue Forkenswifts to somewhere around $20 CDN!
