For sale or trade - 94 VX

Well, it's time to replace the VX with something a bit more family friendly. I just can't fit the car seat in the back AND have a passenger in the front.

It's a 1994 VX, stock everything, 229k miles, new tires, recent head gasket/timing belt/plugs/wires/cap/rotor/oil change, always driven like a grandma (ask my wife!), and the full fuel log is available here. The clearcoat is peeling in some spots, and there is one body issue I'll take some pictures of. The radio was stolen years ago, but I have a stock one to replace it with (am/fm cassette, baby.)

Ideally, I'd trade her straight across (+/- cash, perhaps) for a 4-door Civic of the same vintage or a similar vehicle. If there was a VTEC-E (or 3-stage VTEC) swap into a sedan out there... that would be awesome! Cash works for the right price, too.

What is a reasonable asking price? I'm thinking $3000... it needs paint, minor tear in driver's seat, small dent in hood and one spot of rust on the rear passenger side. Other than that, it's amazing. Getting consistently mid to high 40s, often over 50 mpg.

i'll be putting it on craigslist later this week.
