For Sale: The VX

My wife found a great job in Raliegh and now she wants to treat herself to a new car. So I expect that over the next month or two I will get the Prius back. The VX must go.....

She will have over 150k miles by then. She comes with a SuperMID, HX rims and Insight LRR tires. New O2 sensor, axles, drums, rotors and pads and just had an alignment last week.

The belly pan came off for the alignment and isn't going back on because I won't sell the car with a somewhat controversial mod (perceived melting and fire danger).

She has rust in the usual locations by the rear wheel well and even though I replaced the rotors, there is a substantial shimmy while braking at high speeds. The gas gauge gets whacky at under 1/2 tank so I fill up at about 3/8 tank. I wouldn't go lower.

I would prefer to sell to a GS member. Best Offer.

PM me with an offer if you are interested.

Does this mean that you'll be posting less now on GS as a result of switching to the Hybrid (Dark) side?

Actually, I will be getting a scangauge for the Prius and plan on doing extensive testing on mods. As soon as the family joins me in Raliegh, I will be posting more.

yes I am. The vx seems like it could be in my price range.

Ive got about $3000 invested. It would be nice to get the investment back out of it. It really doesn't matter though, it goes for the best offer.

I will be in the Pittsburgh area over thanksgiving and driving back to Raliegh on Sunday. If you want a test drive, lemme know.
