The Mazda 3 and Corolla look really nice. I drive have a '12 Ford hatchback manual. It has bfg tire right now. This car feels solid and drives exceptionally well but the seats are not comfy.

No doubt in my mind that Honda makes fuel efficient, fun to drive and RELIABLE cars............

That being said, the other shoe drops: Honda - at least in my book - does not come cheap.....

(For those of you in Rio Linda, Honda cars are expensive)

From this sailor's point of view - and I admit to some bias here - my 2017 Jetta 1.4 turbo deserves more respect. Why? 1. OTD $14.3. 2. 40.7 MPG over circa 30k. 3. No issues.

Now I know beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. Just sayin...............

I did drive a 2005 Honda Accord V-6/6M 145,000 miles with few mechanical issues. I even calc'd over 40 MPG from that drive train on a few long freeway trips.

It's all good!

Season's best,

ez
