Thanks!... Eddie
Can you elaborate on the "app sharing issue"? Are you saying you're unable to reinstall Gas Cubby because of it or that you cant load the SQLite file?

I can install it, but I can't get the sqlite file over to the iPhone via the listed apps you have in your instructions. I even tried another app I found but it can't even view the files under the Gas Cubby folder to do the delete of the old file.

Any thoughts?

Do you still have your old device with the data on it (I'm assuming you've changed phones recently)?

Have you tried just syncing your data through the app? What is the background in using the sqlite file?

I'll need to install the programs again and go through the testing in order to help troubleshoot your specific issue. But unless they've changed something recently, I'm not sure why you're receiving an error.

I do not have my previous phone as it was replaced by Apple due to an issue. Since I did a backup, both via the phone and individual ones like the sync in Gas Cubby, I figured I would at least be safe with the Gas Cubby sync if all went crazy. Unfortunately, the phone backup had the issue in it which was causing the problems so a restore of the phone would cause the issue to return. So I had to manually install all my apps and restore from the individual backups.... Gas Cubby is the only one that won't restore due to the inability to get the sqlite file into the Gas Cubby folder on my phone, as per the instructions.

Does the Gas Cubby (in-app) sync not work?

The sync doesn't do anything but give me a link to the sqlite file or sync my current local data (which is blank now).

I guess I've lost my data... doesn't seem like much planning went into the restore side. Good luck with the integration plan for Gas Cubby.

The Gas Cubby sync (gear icon) does not produce a link to the sqlite file.
You can request a backup link from the setup/login screen from the settings menu but I was asking if you've tried using the gear icon yet.

If you'd like to send me your sqlite file via Fuelly Mail message here, I can try to load it onto my testing device to see if any data is on it.

Just to be sure, did you tap Sync (gear icon) prior to turning in your old device?

I had saved a backup in the login settings menu and have verifiied it has data as I downloaded it from the link I received and exported it to a CSV file... all my data is in there but 1) I can't figure out how to get it back in to Gas Cubby as the sync icon in the bottom right corner doesn't work and 2) I can't figure out how the 8 digit date being used is represented so I can't even manually enter the transactions.

If you can actually load the sqlite file I have into the area where the sync will read it and pull it in, that may work. Any chance of that? If so, let me know where to send it.

Eddie
