Sneak peek of the new Fuelly iOS & Android app

Hey everyone!

I know many think that Fuelly has been abandoned, rightfully so. However, for the past year plus, we have been working on a new Fuelly app.

We're getting close to the point where we will release it for beta testing, so i wanted to share some screenshots from the new app.

iOS will have many more features than the current version of the Fuelly app.

Once we finish beta testing and release the new Fuelly app, we will continue adding new features. Some exciting stuff is planned, but I'll hold that for when it's closer to reality.

We still show some test data in the screenshots, but this is what it looks like as of today.

I am excited for this, I personally have looked at starting developing my own Fuelly-like app as I don't like the other competing apps since it seems this one was abandoned, but I am happy to see it is not lost!

Is there a milestone timeline that you might be willing to provide?

All of the feature work is done. We do have a few minor parts of the app to add. We are in the process of testing everything and are finding what is and isn't working properly.

It's not going as quickly as hoped, but we should have a beta version available around the beginning of the year.

will there eventually be an iPad variant of the app?

The new version will scale for tablets. It's not the old style of trying to fit a phone sized app on an iPad, this looks good on an iPad.

You'll be added, we picked a beta release date earlier today. We'll be contacting everyone interested in joining the beta in the not too distant future.
