Anybody in Central Valley CA

I am new as you can see from my last post but I live south of Fresno CA and am testing as much of this crazy stuff on the internet as money and time makes possible. Is anyone else in the area and as interested in answers and mileage as I am? Email me at dan.hadsall@gmail.com...

Well, that depends, Dan...

It all depends upon which Dan Hadsall you are. Are you (were you) in the Navy? If you were (are), you could simply go on more deployments with VFA-41, or any other sea-going squadron. More time on the ship means less miles driven in the car, therefore less fuel used. This results in a substantial effective increase in fuel economy.

My apologies if you are not the Dan Hadsall from Lemoore, CA. Good luck with your quest for higher MPGs.

Not sure what you're trying to do...but,

I'm not sure if you remember my little red Honda CRX, but that car got 50-55 miles per gallon. I used to shoehorn-park it in every little space I could when people took all the "real" parking spaces outside of VFA-41's hangar. That car was great, but I had to leave it in California. I couldn't deal with going back to a car that got less than 40MPG, so I bought another CRX HF when I got back to the east coast. These CRX HF's are ridiculous with the gas mileage.

Not sure what you're currently driving, Dan, but hopefully you can get some good info from this site.
