hi from northeast ohio.i have a 94 4dr geo metro that gets 48 mpg without any alterations yet...
.9 litre 3 cylinder that i really like to drive. the body style is not what i would pick, but when gas rose to 4+ dollars/gallon people were trying to get me to sell it.i look forward to trying to get 55+ mpg with the tips i find here. thank you for all input.

Welcome. If you're getting 48mpg with little effort, you'll definitely beat your 55mpg goal easily with basic gas-saving techniques.
