Thanks, Matt, I'll

Thanks, Matt, I'll definately look into it. I don't want to say I was settling for an N600, because they are awesome...I just thought that owning an S600 was next to impossible.

smithenhiven, isn't the S600 a chain driven RWD car? Was the car in its current condition when you bought it, or are you the restorer?

Yes, the S600 is chain drive (all S500s and S600s were chain drive, as well as some of the "early" S800 cars).

The car is how I purchased it. Although the body is almost in imaculate condition, the interior needs completely redone.

Also, the hydrolic brake and clutch cylinders need rebuilt, and before I can take it on the road, I need to find a reputable company that can reline brake drum shoes.

And if it wasn't for the hardtop, I'd have no top at all. The soft top, and the soft top framing are long gone. But, since I only plan on taking the car out on nice warm sunny days, I should be able to do with just a toneau cover (who will know that there's no top under the cover anyway :P).

I've only owned the car for a few months now, this is actually my second S600. Here is my previous 65 LHD S600 that I sold in order to have a nice down-payment towards my "new" one.

haha, yeah it does. I drove a total of 26 hours to get my first S600, PA to TN, and back, all on a 1988 Nissan Pathfinder with over 200K.

You got me beat. I drove 22 hours (round trip) to get my n600. All the way from Salt Lake City, UT to Colorado Springs, CO. Longest and most worthwhile roadtrip ever.

All I can say is that it is

All I can say is that it is a beautiful car, and I am intensely jealous. I wish you the best of luck with it and getting the interior in. And if for some strange reason you're ever in GA with it, I want a ride!

my ideal micro honda would be the Beat roadster. great looks, mid-engine handling, 660 cc's of fun and/or efficiency, drop top. what more could you ask???

they're legally importable to canada. i'd love to get one, but the total cost is a bit out of my reach just for a "toy". maybe one day...

welcome to the board, jason
