Hi all - BMW!

Hi everyone. Just joined! Live in the bay area and drive a BMW X3.

Related: I'm working on a mobile fuel delivery system. Don't know if this is the right place for it, but would love to hear everyone's thoughts about what you all think of a service that can refuel your vehicle whenever you need it.

Look forward to hearing and learning from everyone here!

Hello and welcome. A service that can refuel your vehicle whenever you need it? Explain more. I've never found visiting a petrol station difficult, but maybe there's a demand somewhere for such service?

I can see it as a premium service for people that don't want to take the time out of their day to fill up, but those people might already have assistants and interns for that.

So essentially a fuel delivery service that can deliver various types of fuel to you.

What we envision is a network of fuel delivery services to provide fuel to you while you work, or sleep - having to never stop by a station ever again. We would provide the same prices as a station, but with the added convenience of the fuel coming to you, along with some bonus services that can be requested.

I have a form here to help us understand how people would use the service - it helps us think about all of the risks and challenges associated with building a service like this. It would be great if you all could fill out the form: https://ashv-2017.typeform.com/to/yJXjf9

I look forward to hearing all your thoughts.

I cant imagine there being a huge profit margin if you're having to drive about fueling your own vehicle too, unless you're getting the fuel extremely cheap. To me, 6-7 minutes at the pump every few weeks has never been a chore to be honest, however it could work for commercial companies that have several vehicles and want to start the working day with full tanks, a well known delivery company with several small vans for example.

I remember a company tried this years ago in some major metro areas; Texas stands out in my mind as one of the states it was operating in, but I could be completely wrong. It might be worth doing a little research and see what ever happened to them.
