poke around and see what you find. first two things: 1- put more air in your tires and 2- slow down. :-) you'll find lots of other great stuff here.

Welcome to GS

Welcome to GasSavers.

V-8 Trucks and SUVs are tough (but not impossible). A few questions...

How many miles do you drive (per month, or year)?
Is it required for work?

I always have to ask if you have another vehicle for a daily driver, or if you have the ability to purchase a small, fuel efficient vehicle to replace the larger vehicle, and use the truck when needed (do some calculations on fuel used vs. the cost of another small car).

The trick is to use it as less as possible. If these are not options, speed and aerodynamics would benefit most. I will tell you that it's not going to be easy. But remember, a few MPG is a large percentage improvement in such a vehicle.

GasSavers is here to help if you have questions...

Best FE,

RH77

another in the DFW area?

I thought with 3 million plus people in this area there had to be at least one other person nearby who likes to save gas! I'm in The Colony.
