new here and already have a question

about the scangauge E
I read in a review by an owner what he didn't like about it was that the 'average MPG resets every time you start the car.

I can't believe the product would be set up this way.

Is this in fact the case or maybe it can be programmed to show 'average MPG since last fillup?

Thank you. I'm looking forward to hearing from you. I'm going to do some reading here.

turns out that there are 2 'modes' one will show you the Average MPG This Trip and the other shows Average MPG This Tank.

Here's the u tube video that showed me this info. The guy describes The Other videos about the scan gauge as 'trash'

Well except for the fact he answered my question he sure wasn't very clear or well spoken.

A real good chance I pick one of these things up this week. O No, another new hobby!

Yes, you can check current trip mileage, today's mileage, yesterday's mileage, and tank mileage. You can really get into the numbers if you want to.

I forgot to put a link to the U Tube video I saw that explains you can see both 'average mileage per gallon today' and 'average mileage since fill up'

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9Oi0Ng6WUOE

and thanks to the guy that posted saying we can check all kinds of 'average miles per gallon' This is going to be fun!
