Like others have been writing, the Prius has a sweet spot for Pulse and Glide below 40 MPH. If you can drive up to 40 MPH and coast down to 30 MPH on a city street, you will have 100% fuel cutoff for the glide. The Prius can get around 100 MPG this way.

I think that's what diamondlarry is doing.
