I've been watching for HXs. I think VX would be even harder to find. Not that I'm buying any time soon, I like to look.

Not that easy to find. Here in CT you might have to go 50-100-150 miles to have a few HX available. And just a couple statewide, usually. If you want more to choose from you probably need to be willing to drive across a few states.

Two weeks plus 2 days... Some not so lucky would not consider that a "finally" conclusion. I do know the feeling. I was lucky enough to find an ad for one that met my criteria 1 hour after posting after weeks of constant time consuming monitoring. Even at one hour, I was initially told another buyer was en-route. That buyer fell through, so i was next. I haven't seen another since.

Honestly you're better of buying a DX and swapping in a JDM Z1. Most VXs, like any cars that age, have high mileage. But besides mileage AGE is a bigger factor than people think. With a DX you get a tilt wheel and intermittent wipers. You can get the rear diffuser from Majestic Honda for $30. Front lip spoiler for $120. Basically when you buy a $2000 DX, you save $2000 to use on reconditioning the vehicle than if you buy a bloated VX.

2 weeks isn't really that long, when you are talking about searching for a car that is 13+ years old. I would imagine it would take awhile to find one in decent condition, and expect to probably pay more than it's worth. It took me about 3 months to find my Civic, and I had to drive to Florida to get it.
