new....somewhat!

just came here to say hello to everyone. I've been a member of cleanmpg.com for a few days now, but have been using some hypermiling techniques before. my car is a '99 dodge avenger V6 auto that gets 17/25 with new epa. so far my best all city driving mileage log has been 27.4 mpg. I'll probably consider an aero mod for the front if i can make one that doesnt take away from the looks, but other than that, i wont be putting anything else on there. I'll see if i can get a different car that i wont worry about putting anything on and then start some real aero modification and other techniques, for the 27.4mpg i used the following techniques:
1 ICE off coasting downhill
2 ICE off coasting to stoplights and off while at stoplights
3 Feathering acceleration to most efficient speed/gear as speed limits allow
4 also tires are up to max sidewall of 40 psi (snow tires) will get new wheels on soon

These are what I use for city, for highway driving which i havent really begun to experiment with, but will this weekend:
1 pulse & glide (w/ ice off) (60-40), the road is level for the most part, however there are some inclines and declines that will work extremely well

2 when necessary, maintain 50mph w/ cabin features off (manufacturer states that is the best mileage velocity, also tried and true)

3 distant drafting unless I'm using the pulse & glide on a decline.

I plan on getting a scan gauge to see what level of acceleration and what speed is most beneficial for mileage. Due to wheel upgrades, I'll have to recalculate mileage based on factory spec tires/rims.

anyway, just wanted to intro myself and share my thoughts and hopefully increase my overall mileage, any input is greatly appreciated!!

Welcome! Make sure that you auto-trans won't be damaged by ICE off coasting.
